Many of us spend too much time indoors and in front of screens, feeling stressed, tense, or caught in loops of rumination and self‑criticism. We want to feel grounded again and reconnect with something real, but it’s hard to find something simple and accessible that doesn’t require preparation or commitment.
This hour in the Dunedin Botanic Garden is designed as an easy reset. A quiet space to step out of the noise, move your body, and let your nervous system settle.
We’ll begin with gentle functional movement to release tension, shift into mindful walking to clear mental clutter, and finish with a seated meditation that supports calm, clarity, and presence. The practice is guided by an experienced, qualified instructor and is suitable for all levels — no special gear, no preparation, just show up as you are.
Held among trees, birdsong, and open space, this session offers a straightforward way to reconnect with yourself and with the natural world.
